The Ice Angeles Hockey League was an idea that started in April 2008, and on October 4, 2009, league directors, Devin Ishida and Sean Horton dropped the puck to open the inaugural season at the completely refurbished Skating Edge Ice Arena in Harbor City, CA. New hockey boards and glass enclose the new layers of sand, plastic and pipes under the refurbished facility. The ice surface has become one of the best, if not the best, in the area. New computer controlled compression system keeps the ice surface in tip top condition and the high vaulted ceiling opens the arena up for a truly great hockey experience.
MISSION STATEMENT
The Ice Angeles Hockey League, Inc. is an organization that focuses on providing a safe, fun and competitive adult ice hockey league. We take pride in the fact that we genuinely care about our players and to give them a league to help improve a healthy lifestyle and achieve their own personal resolution. Our goal is to become a highly recognizable ice hockey league in Southern California. Once a player skates with the Ice Angeles Hockey League, Inc., one will see an organization that is committed to parity, season after season. We are players amongst players. With our dedicated and committed organizational skills, we anticipate growth to capacity in a very short time. Our success will be directly related to the happiness of our players and teams.
